Oprah just did a special on super models. DUH! she missed it. Jean Shrimpton was the first and the REAL SUPERMODEL!!

she was so beautiful. i agree with some of the comments made - she was the original supermodel. i cannot think of anyone since who is as beautiful as she was. i'd love to know what she is up to and how she looks today. i've no doubt she is still a beautiful woman. didn't she have a sister who was also a beauty?

THE ABSOLUTE FIRST SUPERMODEL AND THE VERY BEST EVER. ALL THE OTHER MODELS CLAIMING TO BE THE FIRST SUPERMODEL CAN'T HOLD A CANDLE TO JEAN. TO THIS DAY I HAVE NOT SEEN ANY MODEL WHO CAN HOLD A CANDLE TO HER. SHE WAS MAGNIFICENT.!!!!!!!!!!!

As a teen I was always told I looked like Jean Shrimpton. I'm 60 now and would love see current photos of her.

When I was a teen a magazine had a spread on Jean Shrimpton [maybe 17 magazine] and she was my idol. Loved her face and hair, I wanted to be her. Who can forget Jean Shrimpton?
