They divorced in 1939. Chester's second marriage was to Lillian Kenton Barker (who was the first Chesterfield Cigarette Girl) model. They were married on November 30, 1940 for 29 years until Chester's passing. Chester has stomach cancer for several years. His last movie was "The Great White Hope" finished in 1969, but he passed before it was released.
