Also, Blake raps with his patients which the other doctor does not. There techniques are different. Blake brought Rap Therapy to 50 Cent, Diddy, Madonna, The Black Eyed Peas, Chuck D, DMX, and nearly every notable rapper hoping to educate about how hip hop helps. I'm sure Blake appreciates the great work of Dr. Elligan and they both are working to help create more understanding about how hip hop is able to help heal. We thought we should bring to your attention that your connection to Mr. Blake Levine should be reconsidered. It appears that Mr. Blake has stolen the concept of RAP Therapy and RAP Therapist from a professor DeCarlo in Chicago who invented the concept in a published paper in 2001 and later published an empirical paper in a peer reviewed journal in 2003. Mr. Blake has never mentioned where he stole the concept. He parades around pretending to rescue the helpless Negro with an original idea of RAP Therapy while refusing to give credit to the scholar who originated the so called “RAP Therapy” movement.
