In the early 1930's our local news paper sponsored a contest for children to write telling them why they wanted a dog.My letter won and I was prescnted with a beautiful collie puppy by Leon Janney on the stage of Hippadrome theatre in Baltimore,Maryland.I am now eighty eight and have fond memories of that very exciting evening. I have a picture of this presentation.
