Lili was a friend of my parents and grandparents. I would spend the night sometimes when she wanted company and al was out of town. She would hand write me a check for 15.00 dollars each time. She kept her Hollywood clothes on metal racks that spanned the length of her living room. She was a recluse and didn't have many people over. I remember when Lili lived in Fort Dodge, Iowa with her husband Al Loomis. Their home is still standing. She used to come into a drug store called Osco Drug such a tiny lady always dressed in black .Wearing long black gloves on very hot Iowa days. I was always frightened by this tiny lady as she had such pierceing eys forever staring at me. Is she buried in Fort Dodge next to Al Loomis? This is the story I have been told.
