Too bad marriage contracts were no honored like business contracts. If the other woman was held accountable in a court of law for interfering with the contract of marriage, and fined for ‘stealing” what a different world this would be. Instead of being given the scarlet letter for their bad behavior, Dan and Linda were celebrated for their actions by friends and family who just enabled the situation. Those who supported this relationship pulled the trigger just as sure as Betty. Had anyone helped Betty, and not encouraged Dan and Linda's behavior, maybe non of this would have happened. The kids could have supported their mom more instead of calling Linda “hot” or was that just a line in the movie?

Although I won't go as far as to say Dan and his bimbo got what they deserved, this shoud serve as a cautionary tale to any 20 something woman having an affair with her (rich) married boss. I will say that it is Betty, and not Dan and Linda that I do feel sympathy for.

I just watched the ID channel and was much aurprised as to how different Betty was treated by her husband and the witch he marrierd.The lifetime movie I watched a while ago portrayed her as a witch. It was really Linda and Dan who were awful. They got what they deserved.
