Pernell Roberts, o inesquecível Adam Cartwright que preencheu minha infância com alegrias e sonhos, não teve o reconhecimento da industria do entretenimento. Sem ambições, trocou fama e fortuna pelo prazer de representar Shakespeare. Preocupado com a liberdade e direitos dos grupos minoritários, foi a verdadeira demostração de ética nos seres humanos. I have already posted here, however I have been reading other posts today and noticed one that said Pernell pasted on the 25th of Jan, It was however on the 24th,it was my youngest Daughters Birthday, I shall never forget it, Adeus I grew up on Bonanza and I always loved Adam... those were the BEST of Bonanza. Then Trapper John came and I fell in love all over again. Pernell Roberts only grew better with age. Sleep with the angels Adam and God bless. I can't believe it's been so hectic that I missed hearing about this! Adam was my favorite Bonanza character, and he will be sorely missed! I had such a crush on him as a little girl :- P i thought he had the most beautiful eyes on banaza very smooth walk Pernell was a wonderfull man,aMan to be honord and remembered,I grew up with Bonanza every Sunday night,and managed to see him first in 1967,and again in 1986,while in L.A. on a singing engajment where He was at the front table both times,met him and gave me an autographed alblum and considered myself honored by his presents, I sang ,and He listened,gave me one of his wonderfull smiles and that wink of his,My heart goes out to Elenor,you must miss him terribly,I know I will always have a place in my heart for him, as a child in the sixties there was no better western than bananza, i wish today kids had the chance to enjoy the shows we enjoyed . my prayers goes out to his wife and family. a wonderful actor, My thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Roberts and family and friends. I WATCHED THE SHOWES MR ROBERTS WAS ON TV GROWING UP GAVE ME A HOLSUM FEELING THAT THE BOND THE BROTHERS HAD AND FAMILY VALEUS THEY SHARED INSTILLED INTO ME THE RESPECT AND HONER . THE GOOD OLD DAYS THERE NEVER GONE JUST MISSED HE WAS VERRY TALENTED . NOT LIKE TODAYS TV SHOWS OR PEOPLE AS LONG AS I LIVE I WILL REMBER MR ROBERTS FOR ALL THE GREAT VALUES HIS SHOWS INSTILLED INTO ME . My husband and I grew up on the bonaza shows and Adam was always my favorite.Now we are sharing it with our grandchildren. I do very well know what is like to lose your soul-mate. May God bless you in your long days ahead. Margaret Pernell (Adam) was my favorite in Bonanza. I liked his voice. We never missed watching Bonanza when I was growing up. Now that I have kids of my own. We sit down and watch Bonanza. My daughter who was 6 years old at the time said to me in a very serious voice, "I like Adam". I asked her why and she repled, "I like how he looks". It was a wonderful family program, one that I can watch with my kids. Not like the programs of today. My sympathy goes out to his wife and family. Growing up the cast of Bonanza: Adam Cartright, Little Joe, Hoss and Adam were such a big part of my search for role models. I am so happy they found other roles that expanded those models. Thank you so much for the memories. They burn in my heart and in my soul. THE BONANZA FAMILY WERE A PART OF MY FAMILY EVERY SATURDAY/SUNDAY NIGHT. WE ATE POPCORN AND ENJOYED EVERY SHOW WATCHING ON OUR FIRST RCA COLOR TELEVISION.THEY ALL WILL BE A PART OF MY CHILDHOOD MEMORIES. ESPECIALLY ADAM (PERNELL). My deepest sympathy to Mrs. Eleanor Criswell Roberts on the loss of her husband. i think Pernell Roberts is a very talented actor and is still a handsome man. Pernell/Adam - my link with childhood, first 'falling in love'! The others are gone, so sad. Though you didn't believe in 'Bonanza', many of us will never forget. x I grow up watching you.
