my mother was tom chamales's first cousing. His mother helene was my great aunt. my mother used to tell me stories about him and i always imagines him exactly how he looks here. He was married to Helen Oconnell who is standing to his right. She had been a big band era singer. Tom's father had been an entrepeneur who made many restaurants successf such as the Green Mill in Chicago and the famous Brown Derby.
