I saw her and the cast of The Color Purple on Oprah today. All were beautiful to see, especially young Celie and Shug, but Akosua was breathtaking, a perfect picture of graceful royal African womanhood. I am a published essayist, journalist and novelist who has written a stage play that has been workshopped here in Atlanta. Akosua would be excellent as lead. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with her agent? I think You were excelent in "the color purple", which remains one of the greatest films ever, for me. What struck me when I was watching it the first time, was your beautiful face, with noble features; I thought to myself then:" She must be an African princess..", and how I was thrilled when I read several years later, that You really are... my best, cordial wishes to You Your Highness, from a Polish baron
