frank and peter sallis are two of the remaining great oldies, lets hope they both carry on for many years to come I have always loved the characters that frank has played in the programs "Are You Being Served" and The Last of the Summer Wine". My mum turned me onto them, she was born in London, I was born in Felixstow, But raised in the USA, my mum raised me to appreciate where I was born and tried to keep me in touch as much as she could with the mother land, England. Frank Thornton is a character that is totally english, and every time I watch him in a program, it reminds me of my mum, who passed aways in Feburary, 2006.
