I met Phyllis back stage after a performance there in DC she was very warm and inviting to those of us that hung around for her, I gave her a sketch which admired a lot her comment was "that's me" in return she gave me a photo that she autographed in gold,an left her lip impressions on,she was like a larger than life Erte.

Am I crazy for not being able to get enough of Phyllis, even in death. Her music is my drug I feel. If I don't hear at least one song a day I'm not happy. Every now and then I play old interviews and Sophisticated Ladies just to see her kick up her heels. Phyllis could move for a big girl...lol. I'm just glad I have friends that had worked with her that share their experiences with Ms. Hyman
