I never tire of seeing pictures of lovely Vera-Ellen. I am a dedicated fan of her movies, and her memory. Thanks for all these wonderful photos. Thanks for all these wonderful shots !! In or around 1950/51 I was dancing and one day went to Frederick Freed the ballet shoe company in London. Vera Ellen had been in just before me and left a pair of soft ballet shoes, previously ordered by her, beacause the colour of her costume had been changed. Her instruction was to give them to the next person who came in that they fitted. I was that lucky person. I still have them to this day - now a faded emerald green satin.
