Ever noticed that Susan Dey did not walk, she would glide like a gold medalist figure skater across the Olympic Ice. She did not turn, she pirouetted with all the beauty of the most accomplished ballerina. She did not sit, she descended and graced the chair with her presence. I knew only one other woman that was equal to Susan Dey, that was Nurse Gail Smith. A nurse that saved my life. If you can get ahold Of Susan Dey, I have a story I wrote in 1967, when I fell out of remission, about a Nurse Gail Smith I met in 1960.
